Student Computer Resource Area - On-Campus

We continue to prioritize the health and safety of our NMC students and employees.  Because of this, access is limited to students currently enrolled for the semester.

Students are able to “Walk-in” and utilize the Student Computer Resource Areas (IT Open Lab) during business hours indicated below. If you need to attend an online or virtual class, please book a time slot in advance that is close to your actual class time. This will notify staff members to make sure that you have a workstation and your access ready.

This will also allow us to safely provide computer/internet resources following the CNMI Covid19 Task Force's Building Occupancy restrictions currently in place.

What is the Student Computer Resource Area?

The Student Computer Resource Area, also known as the “Open Lab”, is a place where students can use a computer workstation to do school assignments, do research online, attend virtual classes, etc.  Students are also able to print assignments and materials that they need.  Students are allowed to print a maximum of up to 20 pages a day during the semester.  Students can also request assistance with issues regarding their email accounts, Proa Portal access, google applications, and network/domain access.

Student Computer Resource Area Hours:

Open: Mondays through Friday as follows:

For Walk-ins:
8:30am-5:00pm**

To attend Virtual Classes:
8:30am – 5:00pm.**

Time-slots bookings are required for students who want to use the resource area to attend a virtual class on campus.  Please book may vary due to available workstations.  You will be assigned to a different room so that there are no disruptions or distractions during your virtual class.

Closed:

Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays or when computer rooms have been reserved for Official College Use.

**Time and Availability may change as needed.

Where can I book a time slot appointment to attend a “virtual class” on campus?
