Health Squad

Due to the various crises our college community has endured and responded to over the past several years, it is a priority to take care of our PROA tribe. The Health Squad is an informal group of employees organized to explore ways that we, at the College, can take care of each other's health and wellness.

Wellness Passport

The Wellness Passport is an NMC Online tool for employees to document their journey to improved health and wellness. The passport contains 5 of the 9 different dimensions of wellness: physical, social, spiritual, environmental, and emotional.  Employees can participate in any activities that are related to these 5 dimensions.  Employees track participation in their activities using the online wellness passport.

To learn more about the Dimensions of Wellness, click here

How to participate in the Wellness Passport

  • If you do not yet have an NMC Online (Moodle) account, click here for a step-by-step video on how to sign up for Moodle and the Wellness Passport.
  • If you already have a Moodle account, login and click on the Course Category “NMC Health and Wellness”, then click on  “NMC's Health Squad - Wellness Passport (Spring 2023)” to join.  The enrollment key is “healthyproa”.
  • If you need help with uploading your photos or other documentation of participation in activities, click here for a step-by-step video showing you how to upload them into the Wellness Passport.

At the end of the 2023 Spring Semester (Friday, May 5th) employees who document participation in each of the 5 dimensions of wellness (at least 1 activity in each of the 5 dimensions) will receive a certificate and their name will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a prize!
