Office of Institutional Effectiveness

Overview

The mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) is to provide leadership, guidance, and support for planning and assessment activities of the College in order to foster and promote an environment of continuous improvement and informed decision making using data and evidence.

OIE is primarily responsible for the following areas:

Providing leadership and assistance in overseeing assessment activities; 

  • co-chairing and providing support to the Program Review and Outcomes Assessment Committee (PROAC); 
  • providing guidance and assistance to programs regarding assessment and program review; 
  • providing training and support to programs in using the Taskstream Accountability Management System (AMS) to document assessment activities.

Assisting with the preparation of official reports for and on behalf of the college; 

  • Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System surveys (IPEDS), and various annual reports.

The Taskstream Accountability Management System (AMS) serves as the repository for program assessment and program review materials. The Taskstream portal assists departments and programs in managing program assessment processes. 

Access to a workspace(s) in Taskstream AMS may be granted to designated members of departments, programs, or offices. To obtain access to a Taskstream workspace, please contact Geri Rodgers, AMS System Administrator.
