Seven high schoolers from the islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota will be headed to Washington D.C. this month to represent the Northern Mariana Islands at this year’s National 4-H Conference. The seven are Rownel Jody Coloma, Judy Bang, Rosabelle Surla, Jermaine Chloe Yalung, Kate Manglona, Ryan Nuera, and Remedio Dela Cruz.

Pacifica Insurance has announced that it is offering a $5,000 hole-in-one prize that will be featured at the upcoming annual NMC Foundation Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 19, 2022.

In its ongoing efforts to further higher education in the Marianas, Pacifica Insurance is offering a $5,000 hole-in-one prize for the upcoming 17th Annual Northern Marianas College Foundation Open golf tournament currently scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2022. The first lucky golfer who makes a hole-in-one at the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort’s hole four on the East Course will win the $5,000 prize.

The Northern Marianas College had its accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission reaffirmed yesterday for eight years—the longest accreditation term yet in the college’s history.

CHCC will be administering FREE COVID-19 Surveillance Testing on Saipan at the Koblerville COVID-19 Community Center, regularly, for the following purposes:

Community-Based Testing

Northern Marianas College on Wednesday signed an agreement with the University of Memphis to advance their partnership that aims to benefit CNMI students who want to earn  advanced college degrees. Among other things, the agreement “fosters institutional cooperation by providing for the articulation of courses and transfer credits, the exchange of college resources and scholarship opportunities, student exchange opportunities, and the exchange of technical and administrative assistance.”
