The CNMI Small Business Development Center Network at the Northern Marianas College announced today that it is postponing its SEED to Sail (Supporting Entrepreneurship and Economic Development) program and event, scheduled for this evening, Sept. 16, to accommodate an additional category to allow existing businesses to participate.

Hotel Americano is the latest company to sign on as a Northern Marianas College ProaPerks Partner, joining many other businesses and organizations. All card-carrying members of the NMC ProaPerks program can now receive a 5% discount per night.

Northern Marianas College, Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services (CREES) — Aquaculture and Natural Resources Program Leader, Michael Ogo prepares to look at Phytoplankton in the Aquaculture Laboratory at the NMC As Terlaje Campus. The Aquaculture and Natural Resource program of NMC-CREES was recently awarded $536,000 to construct mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) farming demonstration units on the islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

As part of Northern Marianas College’s efforts to promote economic diversification and workforce development, its Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services (CREES) – Aquaculture and Natural Resources Program secured a $536,000 grant to construct mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) farming demonstration units on the islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

Turnkey Solutions recently donated $1,000 to the CNMI Small Business Development Center’s SEED to Sail Program (Supporting Entrepreneurship and Economic Development). SEED to Sail is a guided experience for start-up and early stage businesses to create and present a pitch to support their application to receive "seed money" to fund their small business venture.
