Northern Marianas College has announced that the maximum number of players that can register for NMC Foundation’s 2022 Golf Open on Saturday, March 19 has been reached. Those who have not registered to play but would like to be placed on a player wait list can contact 237-6780.
“We are extremely grateful for the strong show of support by the many sponsors who are helping the Northern Marianas College,” NMC President Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD said. “We are also thankful for all the golf players who will be joining us on the golf course on March 19.
NMC’s Golf Open will be held on the East Course of the Saipan LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort. Showtime is at 6:00 a.m., and the shotgun start will be at 7:00 a.m. The tournament will follow a medal play format.
First place winners in the men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights (Low-Gross and Low-Net) will each receive $500, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers, respectively. Hole-in-one prizes also include a brand new 2022 Civic Sport Hatchback from Joeten Motors, a brand new 2022 Hyundai Kona N-Line from Triple J Motors, a brand new 2022 Toyota Camry from Atkins Kroll Saipan, and $5,000 from McDonald’s.
The tournament will also feature many other items such as raffle prizes like smartphones, hotel stays, meals, and much more.
