NMC-CREES to Host Workshop on Livestock Opportunities (September 4, 2008)

In partnership with the Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (WSARE), the Northern Marianas College Cooperative Research Extension and Education Service (CREES) will be hosting a free Alternative Livestock Enterprise /WSARE workshop to explore and propose some livestock opportunities applicable to the current CNMI economy. Facilitators will showcase low input/high output and low-maintenance operation strategies.

The workshops will be held on Saipan on September 10 in the NMC-CREES Conference Room, Rota on September 12 in Room B of the NMC-Rota campus, and Tinian on September 16 in Room D of the NMC-Tinian campus. All three sessions will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Those individuals interested in attending the workshops are advised to register beforehand as seating is limited for all three sessions.
