NMC Charter Day Committee Extends Deadline for Vendors (April 28, 2010)

The Northern Marianas College Charter Day Committee is inviting different agencies, businesses, clubs, and other civic organizations to participate in the upcoming Charter Day celebration. Organizations may purchase booth spaces for the following categories: food/drinks, specialty drinks (e.g. coffee coolers or pearl shakes), and retail (arts and crafts, toys, etc). The deadline to submit applications for booth spaces has been extended to Monday, May 3, 2010.

The Charter Day Celebration will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010, at the NMC field and gymnasium from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event is one of NMC’s largest and most-attended events. This year, the celebration will showcase a broad range of entertainment, including a variety of live band performances, cultural dance presentations, and highly anticipated competitions, such as Marianas Idol, Charter Day Dance Crew Competition, and the Battle of the Bands.

The booth fee for food/drink vendors is $150 and for non-food/drink vendors is $100. The booth fee must be paid in order to reserve booth space. Applications may be picked up at the NMC Bookstore (Building E), or can be downloaded online at
