Saipan Computer Services/Ideal Signs Presents $3K Donation to NMC Foundation (April 22, 2010)

To aid in efforts to advance the academic programs and services at the Northern Marianas College and the educational resources available to its students, Saipan Computer Services/Ideal Signs recently donated $3,000 to the NMC Foundation, the fundraising arm of the College.

“We are very proud to be supporting the NMC Foundation in its efforts to help ensure CNMI students a fruitful and rewarding education at the College,” said Kazuko Wakabe-Tiu, managing director of Saipan Computer Services/Ideal Signs.

The donation was presented in support of the upcoming 8th Annual NMC Foundation Golf Open, which is organized by the NMC Foundation. The tournament, the organization’s signature event, aims to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.

“The donation from Saipan Computer Services/Ideal Signs will go a long way in providing for the academic needs of NMC,” said NMC Foundation president Ben Babauta.

The NMC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise funds to support the Northern Marianas College, the CNMI’s lone post-secondary educational institution. The organization is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive the utmost support in pursuing their educational goals.

Saipan Lao Lao Bay Golf & Resort (West Course) will play host to the 8th Annual NMC Foundation Golf Open, scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010. Show time is 6:00 a.m. and shotgun start is 7:00 a.m. Registration fee is $95.00.
