The Northern Marianas College Charter Day Committee has set the date of the celebration for May 7, 2010. NMC’s Charter Day is an annual celebration of the College’s service to the community as an institution of higher learning”it will be 29 years this April since NMC was first chartered.

The Committee is also inviting different agencies, businesses, clubs, and other civic organizations to participate in the upcoming Charter Day celebration. Organizations may purchase booth space for the following categories: food/drink, specialty drinks (e.g. coffee coolers or pearl shakes), games booths, retail (arts and crafts, toys, etc), and information.

The deadline to submit applications for booth spaces is on April 26, 2010. Booth space is limited, so applications should be submitted as soon as possible.

The event is one of NMC’s largest and most-attended events. This year, the celebration will showcase a broad range of entertainment, including the highly-anticipated Marianas Idol, Battle of the Bands, and the Charter Day Dance Crew Competition.

The booth fee for food/drink vendors is $150 and for non-food/drink vendors is $100. The booth fee must be paid in order to reserve booth space.
