Community Brief: NMC Registration Begins Next Week (May 15, 2009)

Registration for the Northern Marianas College’s Summer 2009 semester will begin on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, and will continue to May 22, 2009. New students are required to take an English and Math placement test before they register. The schedule of placement tests and the Summer 2009 class schedule can be found online at

The Summer 2009 semester is divided into four sessions: Regular Summer Session (nine-week courses, Extended Summer Session (twelve-week courses), Summer Session I (six-week courses) and Summer Session II (six-week courses starting July 6).

Those who have not applied for admission can still do so by visiting the College’s Office of Admissions and Records (OAR) and picking up an application form. Application forms can also be downloaded from the NMC website.

Application for admissions will be accepted until the last day of Registration, which is May 22, 2009, provided that both placement tests have been taken. Note the following dates below:
