Before taking the placement tests, individuals must first fill out a Placement test/PCID Request Form at the Office of Admissions and Records (M-F, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) and pay the $25 fee for each placement test at the NMC Cashier (M-F, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm). Payment of the admission application fee will cover the English placement test fee. Students will not be allowed to take the placement test/PCID tests without their processed Placement Request Form and a valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport or school ID).

The testing center will provide scratch paper and pencils. The use of a calculator is allowed during the math placement.
