In support of higher education in the CNMI, Saipan Computer Services donated $5,000 to the Northern Marianas College Foundation. The donation was made in support of the upcoming 10th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament scheduled for this Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.

“As the primary Higher Education provider of the CNMI, the College plays the important roles of shaping young men and women to be contributors to the community and training them for local workforce. We are proud and committed to support the NMC Foundation’s efforts to help NMC,” said SCS General Manager, Jerry Tiu.

The NMC Foundation is composed of community volunteers committed to the advancement of opportunities in support of higher education for people in the CNMI. The golf tournament is the NMC Foundation’s signature event that raises funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.

“Saipan Computer Services has been a longtime supporter of the NMC Foundation,” said NMC Foundation President Ivan Quichocho. “We are extremely thankful for the company’s unwavering commitment to the College and to elevating higher education opportunities in the CNMI.”
