Contestants Sought for “Marianas Idol” Competition (April 3, 2008)

The Northern Marianas College Charter Day Committee is seeking CNMI singing superstars to compete in the highly-anticipated “Marianas Idol IV,” which will be held at the Charter Day Celebration next week Friday, April 11, 2008.

Auditions will be held at the NMC Student Center (Building J) on Thursday, April 10, 2008, at 6:00 PM. The top finalists will showcase their singing talent and skills the very next evening at the Charter Day Celebration.

In addition to the Marianas Idol competition, the Northern Marianas College Charter Day Festivities will also feature performances from Saipan Grand Hotel’s Zynergy, Reggae Band Burning Bush, and many other performances. Additionally, there will be several booths featuring various delicacies for sale and games to enjoy.

For more information about the Marianas Idol competition, please contact Queanna Sablan at 234-5498 ext. 1253 or e-mail [email protected] Organizations who are interested in purchasing booth space for the following categories: food/drink, specialty drinks (e.g. coffee coolers or pearl shakes), games booths, and retail (arts and crafts, toys, etc) can contact Ms. Sablan at the same number. The deadline to submit applications for booth spaces has been extended to Friday, April 4, 2008.
