NMC-CREES Hosts Goat Workshops (April 17, 2012)

The Northern Marianas College Cooperative Research Extension and Education Service (NMC-CREES) is inviting members of the community to attend a free workshop to learn about goat management and nutrition on Saipan and Tinian.

The workshop on Saipan will take place on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Room D-1 at the NMC As Terlaje campus. The workshop on Tinian is on Friday, April 20, 2012 in Room F at the NMC Tinian Instructional Site.

Lecture is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the field tour and forum is from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Agricultural extension agent Dr. Manuel Duguies from University of Guam’s Cooperative Extension Service in collaboration with pasture agronomist and animal scientist Dr. Allan Sabaldica of NMC-CREES will present information on how to care for goats and goat breeding.
