SCS donates $5,000 to NMC Foundation (April 20, 2011)

As a part of its commitment to support higher education, Saipan Computer Services made a donation of $5,000 to the NMC Foundation. The donation was made in support of the Foundation’s mission to expand educational opportunities for CNMI students.

“We are proud to be supporting the community by providing funds for educational programs and services at NMC,” said Jerry Tiu, Business Development Director of SCS.

The NMC Foundation is the fundraising arm of the College and is composed of volunteers from the community committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive support in pursuing their educational goals. The golf tournament is the organization’s signature event for raising funds.

“SCS’s donation is greatly appreciated,” said NMC Foundation president Ben Babauta. “The company’s support of the golf tournament will contribute to the NMC Foundation’s fundraising efforts.”
