Welcome to the Northern Marianas College Tinian Center!

Northern Marianas College’s Tinian Center was established in 1994 to provide post-secondary, continuing, and adult education and training opportunities for the purpose of improving the quality of life for the people of Tinian.

The NMC Tinian Center has helped many students achieve their educational goals and helped them earn degrees in Criminal Justice, Business Management, Nursing, Education and certificate programs.

The following programs are available at NMC Tinian Centers:

  • Academic Programs Online towards a college degree.
  • Ed2go - A Continuing Education Program.
  • CREES: Agriculture and Extension Programs, Aquaculture, Livestock, and Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Programs.
  • Adult School Program - A high school equivalency diploma under the Adult Basic Education.
  • Community Development Institute offers services from three programs: Community Service and Personal Enrichment (CSPE), Extended Degrees and University Partnerships (EDUP), and Workforce Development and Certificate Training (WDCT).
  • Project PROA/ PROA Center: Aims to improve and expand the capacity of indigenous Chamorro and Carolinian students from Rota, Saipan and Tinian navigate their path to a college degree at NMC. This is a federally funded program from the Department of Education under AANAPISI grant.
  • Testing Center: English & Math Placement and SAT Test Center #72767
  • Educational Testing Service: SAT Test Center #72767
