2020 Public Private Partnership Conference
March 18 - 19, 2020 | Saipan, CNMI

With support from the United States Department of Agriculture, the conference will be hosted by Northern Marianas College, the CNMI Office of Planning and Development, and Guam Community College.

The goal of this two-day conference is to provide a forum that creates synergies, relationships and networks among private and public sector partners to identify common areas of interest and objectives from mission oriented organizations to spur education, healthcare, transportation and other essential community investments in rural infrastructure projects.

The conference will also provide an opportunity for both public and private leaders as well as individual community stakeholders to participate in face-to-face, roundtable discussions with senior USDA Rural Development officials and off-island investment lenders with expertise in financing public facilities and capital improvement projects.

Invited attendees will include key officials representing healthcare, education, independent colleges and universities, national, local and regional lenders, members of the capital credit markets, project consultants and non-profits who have successfully completed large rural community infrastructure projects.

This is a free event; however, because space is limited, registration is required. Registration deadline is Feb. 28, 2020. However, we anticipate the seats will fill before the deadline, so register today! For more information, please contact Les Ogumoro-Uludong at [email protected].

2019 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy

In an effort to better assess the economic and community needs for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands after being struck by Super Typhoon Yutu in 2018, the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) was updated in 2019 to identify key economic development projects with an emphasis on recovery and resiliency. The updated CEDS, which was prepared by the CNMI Office of Planning and Development and the CNMI Department of Commerce, can be viewed here.
