NMC CNMI-wide Internships for High School Juniors, Seniors (June 21, 2010)

Incoming high school juniors and seniors can now apply for the 2010 High School Summer Internship Program at the Northern Marianas College’s Cooperative Research Extension and Education Service (CREES). Positions are available for CREES’s Aquaculture, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Food Science, and 4H Youth Program.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, should have an interest in the mentioned fields, and must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher (current transcript).

The program, which offers positions on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota, will take place from July 19 through August 13, 2010. The deadline to submit applications and required documents is July 2, 2010.

For more information, contact the CREES office at 234-5498 ext. 1705 or 1707. Applications can be picked up at the CREES office in Building F (Saipan campus) or at the Tinian and Rota administration offices. They can also be downloaded at http://crees.org/news.asp.

The internship program is made possible by funds from the ADAP Professional Development Project and Resident Instruction/CARIPAC Project.
