NMC Alumni Assoc. Unveils Card Program (March 11, 2010)

The Northern Marianas College (NMC) unveiled its new alumni card program during the Alumni Mixer event held on March 11 at the Pacific Islands Club. The alumni card program allows cardholders to take advantage of benefits and discounts offered by participating business establishments.

The NMC Alumni Association continues to promote a sense accomplishment and camaraderie in connecting NMC with its current and former students of the Northern Marianas College.

The NMC Alumni Mixer was the first of many planned opportunities for alumni to register with the association and become aware of how they can participate in alumni sanctioned events that would have them give back to both the island community and the college.

During the mixer, the Alumni Association took an important step by unveiling and implementing the NMC Alumni Membership Card program that would give NMC alumni members’ discounts and other benefits at participating CNMI businesses.

With this incentive, the card program hopes to encourage alumni to enroll with the association and become proud and active members in improving post-secondary education through donations or volunteering in various events with the Northern Marianas College.

If interested NMC alumni would like to register with the association, registration forms can be downloaded from the NMC website at www.nmcnet.edu or e-mail [email protected]. Alumni can also visit or contact the NMC Office of Institutional Advancement at 234-5498 ext. 1502 (Building N Room 6).
