Toothworks Donates $5,000 to NMC Foundation (March 11, 2010)

Underscoring its commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for CNMI students, Toothworks recently presented a $5,000 donation to the Northern Marianas College Foundation.

“Our company has always been a strong supporter of the College and its mission to advance educational and professional training opportunities for students,” said Dr. Markoff of Toothworks. “We are glad to be making this donation on behalf of all employees of Toothworks.”

The donation, made through the Educational Tax Credit program, was presented in support of the upcoming 8th Annual Golf Foundation Open golf tournament, which is organized by the NMC Foundation. The tournament, the organization’s signature event, aims to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.

“We are extremely grateful for Toothworks’ generous contribution,” said Ben Babauta, president of the NMC Foundation. “The donation speaks volumes about the company’s dedication to enhancing higher education in the CNMI.”

The organization is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive the utmost support in pursuing their educational goals.

“We are deeply thankful for Toothworks’ donation,” said NMC Interim President Lorraine Cabrera. “The company’s donation will help the College enhance the programs and services that we provide to the College.”
