NMC Orientation for New Students Today (August 15, 2008)

To familiarize them with their new surroundings and the expectations of college classes, new Northern Marianas College students are encouraged to attend the student orientation scheduled for today, Friday, August 15, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. A second, more condensed orientation session will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Students can attend either one.

At the orientation, new students will be able to meet with advisors who will talk about student responsibilities, study skills, and tips for college success. NMC staff will also be on-hand to clarify the College’s registration process. The orientation will also include a tour of the College campus.

Registration for the Fall 2008 semester begins next week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Late registration will be on Saturday, August 23, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Those who have not applied for admission can submit their application as late as August 23, 2008, provided that they have taken the English and math placement tests already.
