NMC English and Math Placement Test Schedule (July 24, 2009)

The Northern Marianas College will be conducting English placement tests on the following dates for the Summer Session II and the Fall 2009 semester:

Thursday July 2 1:00 p.m. ” 4:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Monday August 3 1:00 p.m. ” 4:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Wednesday August 5 5:00 p.m. ” 8:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Thursday August 6 1:00 p.m. ” 4:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Thursday August 13 5:00 p.m. ” 8:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Friday August 14 9:00 a.m. ” 12:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Friday August 21 9:00 a.m. ” 12:00 p.m. Room: A-5

NMC math placement tests will be conducted on the following dates:

Tuesday August 4 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Thursday August 6 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Tuesday August 11 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Room: D-1
Thursday August 13 10:00 a.m. ” 12:00 p.m. Room: D-1

Those who wish to take courses at NMC must take the placement tests. Registration for NMC’s Fall 2009 semester will begin on August 17 and end on August 21.

Those who wish to take the test must bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport or school ID) and pencils. No admittance to the testing room will be allowed after the starting time. Calculators may be used when taking the math placement test.

There is a $25 fee each for the English placement test that must be paid in advance at the NMC Cashier (M-F, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm). No one will be allowed into the testing room without proof of payment (a receipt for either the placement test fee or the NMC application fee). Payment for the application fee will cover the English placement test fee.
