NMC information session on March 21 (March 18, 2019)

Individuals who are interested in enrolling in Northern Marianas College’s spring 2019 semester are encouraged to attend NMC’s information session on Thursday, March 21, 2019. Available federal financial aid along with other topics will be discussed during the event.

The information session will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Northern Marianas College’s Olympio T. Borja Library at the As Terlaje campus.

In addition to the admission process, the information session will cover financial aid options that are available for the spring 2019 semester. This will include the Federal Financial Aid program which uses the FAFSA.

The Federal Financial Aid program is admitted by the U.S. Department of Education. Through the program’s various types of grants, loans, and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.

Attendees of the information session will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for Northern Marianas College’s upcoming spring 2019 semester, a savings of about $75.

The first day of classes will be on April 1, 2019, but interested applicants are encouraged to apply early to register for courses and for financial aid.

Northern Marianas College offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associate of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
