NMC to Host Two Info Sessions Next Week (July 24, 2018)

Individuals who are interested in furthering their education or expanding their income potential are encouraged to attend one of two Northern Marianas College information sessions scheduled for next week.

The first session will be on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, and the second session will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018. The sessions will cover topics that include degree programs, financial aid options, the Prior Learning Assessment program, admissions, and other topics.

Both info sessions will be held from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at NMC’s Cafe Proa located at the College’s As Terlaje campus. Cafe Proa is located near the NMC Bookstore.

Attendees of the information sessions will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC's upcoming Fall 2018 semester, a savings of about $75.

Round trip shuttle service will be provided from Tanapag and Kagman on each day that the info session is held. Pick up times from Tanapag Middle School and the Kagman Market will be at 4:30pm, and the return drop off time from NMC back to Tanapag and Kagman will be at 7:00pm.

Northern Marianas College offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associate of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
