NMC Hosted Training Workshop for Commerical Building Maintenance (January 22, 2018)

Northern Marianas College recently hosted a training workshop that focused on best practices for commercial building maintenance in the CNMI. Participants included employees of Department of Public Works, Commonwealth Ports Authority, Commonwealth Utilities Corporation, and Northern Marianas College. A few topics included effectively capturing the Value of Life Cycle Costing (LCC), avoiding common OSHA violations, and accurately using a five-year plan to project future maintenance costs. The training was organized and facilitated by David Casavant (far left) and Vinnie Del Borrello (third from far right) from the Sustainable Workplace Alliance.
