Scholarship Deadline Extended for High School Students who want to Enroll in College Courses (June 2, 2015)

Northern Marianas College has announced that it is extending the deadline for the Coldwell Solar Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to eligible high school students interested in taking college courses that can also count toward their high school graduation requirements.

The scholarship application deadline has been extended to June 12, 2015.

The funds can be used to pay tuition for up to two courses for enrollment during the summer or the upcoming school year. High school students should meet with their high school counselor to pick up an application packet and to ask for a letter of recommendation.

In addition, the criteria of meeting the English 101 and Math 132 placement level is preferred, but is not required. Students will still need to take the English and Math placement tests to provide their test scores to complete their scholarship application.
