Registration for NMC’s Spring 2015 Semester this Week

New students who wish to enroll in Northern Marianas College’s Spring 2015 semester can register for classes beginning today, Monday, Jan. 12, 2015. The registration period for new students will continue through Friday, Jan. 16, 2015. Ongoing students who were enrolled in the previous two semesters can already register online.

The instructions for registering for classes, in addition to other important information, can be found at the Northern Marianas College’s website at Students may register between 9:00am and 6:00pm during this week.

New students who have already taken their placement tests and attended student orientation are asked to meet with their academic advisors before registering for classes. New students are assigned an advisor once they submit their admissions application. Students who have not taken the placement test can contact 237-6774 (or visit the Testing Center in Building I) to make an appointment.

Ongoing students can register online after meeting with their advisor and after clearing any holds that may be pending at the Finance Office, the NMC Library, or the Office of Admissions and Records. To find out if any holds exist, students can visit the Admissions office on Building N or they can call 237-6768/9.

Taking Online Courses For the First Time

Students who plan to register for an online or hybrid class for the first time are required to complete the “Discover NMC Online” Orientation first. This two-week online orientation (2-3 hours per day, first day’s session is face-to-face) provides students with information and the skills they need to successfully navigate online courses.

Please sign up for the session offered for January 20 - 31, 2015, by visiting
