NMC Hosts Fall 2013 Student Orientations (August 1, 2013)

The Northern Marianas College will be hosting student orientations for the upcoming Fall 2013 semester starting on Monday, August 5, 2013.

The student orientations are hosted to assist new students and returning students (those who did not take courses at NMC previous semester, Spring or Summer), learn more about various educational programs, services and resources available at the College.

The orientations will provide students the opportunity to meet NMC staff, faculty and other students before the start of the Fall semester. NMC will be hosting student orientations on the following dates:

Participation in a student orientation is a requirement for enrollment. New or returning students who do not attend a student orientation will not be able to register for courses during the week of Fall 2013 registration, which begins on Monday, August 12, 2013.

Students will need to confirm which student orientation they will be attending by contacting the Office of Admissions and Records (OAR) at 234-5498 ext. 6772/6769. Those unable to attend any of the scheduled student orientations will also need to contact the Office of Admissions and Records.

In addition, new students who are planning to register for online and/or hybrid courses this semester are highly encouraged to also attend an NMC Online orientation. These orientations are designed to better prepare those who are new to taking online or hybrid courses at NMC. Note the following dates below:

Attendance at these orientations does not exempt the mandatory attendance for all courses on the first day of class time and location as listed on the Fall 2013 Class Schedule.
