NMC Business Department Info Session on Dec. 12 (Wednesday)

Working professionals looking to advance their career and those who are interested in earning a college degree in business are encouraged to attend the FREE Northern Marianas College Business Department Information Session on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in Room D-1.

At the Information Session, attendees will learn about the NMC Business Department’s expanded course offerings in different areas of business including management, accounting, marketing, or computer applications.

With more evening, weekend, and online courses, the Business Department has also been increasing the flexibility of its class to help working professionals maintain a full- time student status so that they can qualify for additional financial aid.

Attendance at the Business Department Info Session qualifies participants to receive a waiver of the admission application fee and the placement test fee (a savings of up to $75) for the upcoming Spring 2013 semester.

The Northern Marianas College offers an Associate in Arts Degree in Business; an Associate in Applied Science in Hospitality Management; and an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration, with emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications.

Furthermore, NMC offers a Bachelor of Science degree in education (emphasis on elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), and associate degrees in liberal arts, nursing, natural resources management, and criminal justice. Moreover, it offers short-term certificate programs in different vocational, academic, and professional areas.
