NMC Spring 2012 Registration Ongoing This Week (Jan. 10-13)

Registration for the Northern Marianas College’s Spring 2012 semester will be ongoing this week until Friday, January 13, 2012. Students can register on the day designated for their PowerCampus ID number during this week. Late registration is from January 17 to 20, 2012.

The College offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis on elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), associate degrees in business, business administration (emphasis on accounting, business management, or computer applications), liberal arts, nursing, natural resources management, criminal justice, and hospitality management. Moreover, it offers short-term certificate programs in different vocational, academic, and professional areas.

New students are required to take the English and Math placement tests before they register. After taking the placement tests, students can obtain the required slip from the English department and meet with their academic advisors. NMC academic advisors will help new students fill in registration forms and create class schedules. Students can then finish the registration process in NMC’s Room D-1.

Application for admissions will still be accepted until the last day of late registration on Friday, January 20, 2012, provided that both placement tests have been taken. Students may register between 9am and 6pm Monday through Friday during registration week, and between 8am and 5pm during the week of late registration. Note the following dates below:
