The Northern Marianas College 30th Annual Charter Day will be held on Friday May 6, 2011 at the As Terlaje campus from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.

The NMC Charter Day is an annual celebration of the College’s service to the community as an institution of higher learning.

This year’s theme is “Celebrating 30 years of Sailing”. The event will feature entertainment favorites such as Battle of the Bands, Marianas Idol, Dance Crew Competition Challenge and Miss Pugua.

There will also be other special performances and contests. The students, staff and faculty of NMC are inviting the entire CNMI to celebrate the College’s 30th year with a day of great food and entertainment.

Agencies, businesses, clubs and other civic organizations are invited to participate by purchasing booth space for the following categories: food/drink, specialty drinks (e.g. coffee coolers or pearl shakes), game booths, retail (arts, and crafts, toys etc.), and information.

The deadline to submit applications for booth spaces is on Thursday May 5, 2011. Booth space is limited so applications should be submitted as soon as possible. Also there will be prizes for the booths that win the best décor and best dish competitions.

The booth fee is $150. $50 of the fee will be refunded upon clean up of the booth space post-event. Club booths are $50 and also include a $25 refund upon booth space clean up.
