Career Services

The Office of Career Services, under the Division of Student Development, provides assistance to students in developing, refining, and implementing appropriate career objectives. Another goal of this unit is to help students acquire information, knowledge, and competencies that will enhance their individual career development, academic success, and employability. Students are also afforded the opportunity to participate in employment training programs for the purpose of developing work skills and acquiring hands-on experience.

Mission Statement

Our mission at the Career Counseling and Placement Center (CCPC) is to assist students in understanding their career and employment potential by providing counseling, information, quality learning experiences, and combining classroom learning with actual on-the-job training experiences.
